Why We're Hiring Germany's First Vibe Coder
TL;DR: „We're not looking for a developer. We're looking for someone who builds faster than any dev team – by prompt."
— Till FreitagThe Job Title That Polarises
"Vibe Coder (m/f/d) – Germany's First."
Yes, it sounds like a marketing stunt. It partly is. But behind the provocative title lies a serious conviction: the way software is built has fundamentally changed. And we need someone who lives this new reality.
What Even Is a Vibe Coder?
The term comes from Andrej Karpathy, former Tesla AI Director. His principle: you describe what you want – the AI writes the code. No line-by-line typing, just prompting, iterating, shipping.
In 2025, this was still a Twitter trend. In 2026, it's a development methodology used by startups, agencies, and enterprise teams in their daily workflow.
What changed: the tools grew up.
- Lovable turns a prompt into a deployed React app
- Cursor has taken tab completion and multi-file edits to a new level
- Claude Code plans and implements multi-step tasks autonomously
- Kiro brings spec-driven development to the mainstream
A Vibe Coder doesn't just know these tools – they think in them.
Why Us?
We're not a traditional web agency. We're the logical evolution of one. Our stack is AI-native. Our promise: We build what consultants just present.
In recent months, we've:
- Built complete web apps in days instead of months
- Delivered client MVPs with Lovable and Cursor in a single sprint
- Developed workshops where non-developers build their own tools
What's missing? Someone who does this full-time. Someone whose main job is to build by prompt – and to guide others in doing the same.
What the Vibe Coder Does
1. Build MVPs in Hours
Clients come with an idea. The Vibe Coder delivers a working prototype the same day. Not as a mockup, not as a Figma file – as a deployed app.
2. Perfect the AI-Native Workflow
Which tool for which use case? When Lovable, when Cursor, when Claude Code? The Vibe Coder develops playbooks and best practices for our team and our clients.
3. Lead Workshops
Vibe Coding Workshops are one of our fastest-growing services. The Vibe Coder stands at the front and demonstrates live how to build by prompt.
4. Create Content from Practice
Tutorials, case studies, live demos. The Vibe Coder documents what works – and becomes the voice of our Vibe Coding content pillar.
"But Isn't That Just a Developer with a New Title?"
No. A traditional developer thinks in functions, classes, and architecture patterns. A Vibe Coder thinks in prompts, iterations, and tool chains.
| Traditional Developer | Vibe Coder | |
|---|---|---|
| Primary Tool | IDE + Keyboard | AI Tools + Prompts |
| Approach | Write code | Describe outcomes |
| Speed | Days to weeks | Hours to days |
| Strength | Deep system knowledge | Broad, rapid execution |
| Output | Codebase | Finished products |
This doesn't mean a Vibe Coder needs no technical understanding. Quite the opposite: to write good prompts, you need to understand what's happening under the hood. React, TypeScript, databases – the knowledge must be there. But the focus shifts from writing to steering.
The Bigger Picture: From Vibe Coding to Agentic Engineering
Vibe Coding is the entry point. The next level is Agentic Engineering – AI agents that don't just prompt but autonomously plan and execute.
Tools like Lovable and Replit show where the journey leads: multi-agent systems that break complex tasks into sub-steps and process them in parallel. This isn't science fiction – it's Q1 2026.
Our Vibe Coder will work at the intersection of today and tomorrow. Today: writing prompts and orchestrating tools. Tomorrow: steering agent teams and automating entire workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience with at least 2 vibe coding tools (Lovable, Cursor, Claude Code, Kiro, Codex)
- Technical understanding of React, TypeScript, and modern web stacks
- Systematic prompting – not random prompting, but structured iteration
- Self-direction – you don't need tickets to know what to do
- German and English – our clients speak both
Nice to have:
- Portfolio of AI-built projects
- Experience with Supabase, Vercel, or similar platforms
- Content experience (blog, video, social media)
The Application Process: No CV, Just a Build
We don't want a three-page CV. We want to see what you build.
How to apply:
- Take one of the tasks from our careers page
- Build the solution with your preferred vibe coding tool
- Send us the link and a brief explanation of your approach
That's it. No cover letter, no assessment centre. Just you and your prompt.
Conclusion: The Future Has a New Job Title
Vibe Coder isn't a buzzword. It's the description of a skill that will become as natural as "Full-Stack Developer" was ten years ago.
We want to be the first to officially fill this role. Not because it sounds good – but because we need it.
